1905年，香港，消息傳來：革命領袖孫中山決定冒險赴港，名為探望母親，實則與革命代表見面。為保衛孫先生的安全，革命志士與清廷鷹犬、港英政府之間展開了一場殊死較量。 革命志士陳少白，聯絡富商李玉堂，希望其能出資“邀請”江湖高手保護孫先生。李玉堂發掘出五位大隱於市的高手，組成臨時“護衛隊”來保護孫先生。  

一切準備就緒，孫先生如期抵港。  清廷派出的暗殺隊，遠比李玉堂等人想像的兇狠。這些寂寂無名的平凡百姓，在良知與正義的呼喚下，放棄了家庭、愛情、事業、友情，最後，甚至是生命。一場又一場的血戰與惡鬥，在香港的街頭巷尾展開。最終，孫先生安全離港，繼續為革命事業奔波。六年後，辛亥革命爆發。

It tells the story of a group of bodyguards protecting Sun Yat-sen (1866-1925) from assassins in 1905 Hong Kong .s1905, City of Victoria (British Colony of Hong Kong). Before Dr. Sun Yat-Sen can become the Father of Modern China by instigating the revolution of 1911 that overturns the Qing Dynasty, his life is almost cut short when he arrives at Hong Kong for a secret meeting to establish.
