劇情:

動盪又激奮的80年代，棒球被韓國國民視為國球，大家通過感受賽場上的激動氣氛來營造自強之夢。1987年5月16日，一場別開生面的棒球比賽改變了兩個男人的命運，一個是通過不懈努力成為全國知名投手的崔東源，另一個是後起之秀天才投手宣東烈。他們之間的關係頗為複雜，是充滿友情的前後輩，有時不得不狹路相逢的敵手。他們歷經15個回合仍然勝負難分的一場比賽，歷史5個多小時的這場比賽成為了韓國棒球史上的經典對決場景。這場艱難的鏖戰究竟誰勝誰負？

Synopsis:

Choi Dong-won signed with the Korean professional baseball team Lotte Giants in 1983. Seon Dong-ryeol signed with the Korean professional baseball team Haitai Tigers in 1985. Choi Dong-won is driven by the desire to become the best pitcher in South Korea. Seon Dong-ryeol is a rising pitcher, blessed with natural talent. Baseball fans and the media are all obsessed with who is the better pitcher. Their teams, however, are reluctant to have their ace pitchers face off against each other due to the insane amount of pressure that would fall on them.
